The Nannup Music Festival is built on love, compassion, understanding, celebration, respect, inclusion, and amazing human experience. It is seldom to see the complete span of human age, abilities, interests, and cultures represented at a music festival coexisting together, sharing cultural experience together.
Like no other, Nannup Music Festival has been West Australia’s premiere opportunity for remote community Indigenous artists for over a decade. It has nurtured relationships with artists and their communities to provide a safe, welcoming space for artists to perform with support, confidence and respect.
The festival has brightly shone a focus on emerging artists; once little-known names like Passenger, Gurrumul, Tash Sultana, Mama Kin, Stella Donnelly and Carla Geneve all graced Nannup stages as unknown artists.
