About the artist

Sometime around the turn of the millennium, a Fremantle sharehouse full of young folk musicians picked up some guitars, ukuleles, drums, a double bass and became Double Entendre: WA’s premier purveyors of Gyprock and Heavy Wood. After winning a WAMi, gigging with The Cat Empire, jamming with a proto Tame Impala and touring the far flung corners of the country in a broken old bus, the band mysteriously faded into the shadows, but are back for their 20-year reunion. Catch their first (and possibly last) performance together in over 10 years this Nannup, where they last headlined the Amphitheatre Saturday night in 2008. Get your dancing feet on and let’s boogie to some eclectic celtic/reggae/balkan/jazz/folk/rock/roots!
