About the artist
Curley is a Fremantle/Walyalup-based band known for their eccentric and colourful live performances. Anyone who has been to their live show knows it’s a kooky journey through a wide range of emotions, both musically and thematically. With alt-rock and alt-pop at their core, and front-person George Gare’s melodic vocals leading the way, they deliver melodramatic yet heartfelt songs about topics such as methods of transport, breakups, ghosts, falling in love, and the magic of the human experience.
Curley became musically linked through playing together in a number of other bands including Jack Davies & The Bush Chooks, smol fish and Hector Morlet. They continue to perform their bedazzled live set around Perth/Boorloo, with a brand new album set to drop in 2027.
