About the artist
Alexander Beetle, is a rambling Dwellingup troubadour. With his 13-fret parlour guitar slightly out of tune, and a fist full of rusted harmonicas, he delivers melodies of poetical meanderings about bees and birds, land rights and the poverty line. Living nestled amongst the towering Jarrah’s, he makes rare “trips down the hill” to play his music for a wider audience, usually preferring to crow out the front of the local IGA for a gold coin, a smile, or a tear.
