About the artist

Stellar ‘Manawala’ Moon is a Nyikina singer-songwriter, sound healer, and creative from the Kimberley. Her music and sound journeys are all about connection — to spirit, to Country, to each other, and to the truth of who we are. With a voice that’s raw, rich, and full of feeling, Stellar blends Soul into country-rock-reggae & funk using storytelling and the language of her ancestors to create something deeply moving and uniquely her own.

After years performing in cover bands and teaching music in the Northwest, Stellar stepped into her original artist path through programs like Sounds of the Kimberley and APRA’s Women in Music. Her debut album Phases (2024) was a powerful reflection of growth and transformation, featuring songs in Nyikina Nganka — her grandmother’s language, which learning has been part of her own healing journey and she proudly helps keep alive.

She has extensively toured WA, played Bridgetown Blues, Sunset Sounds and Untamed Festivals and supported Aussie greats such as Emily Wurramara, Darryl Braithewaite & the Waifs. Now in early 2026, Stellar has just released new music from her upcoming album, due out later this year. These new tracks continue her journey of healing, story, and cultural connection, with fresh sounds and heartfelt lyrics that invite listeners deeper into her world.

Stellar believes music is medicine, and that our voices — no matter how polished or raw — are powerful tools for healing, expression, and coming home to ourselves. Everything she shares, from a song on stage to a quiet moment with a singing bowl, carries the same intention: to uplift, to remember, and to reconnect.

Stellar ‘Manawala’ Moon invites you into a space where sound speaks beyond words, and every note is a step back to your sovereign spirit.
