About the artist
Fremantle College’s Approved Specialist Contemporary Music Program has been making waves in the WA music scene for eight years, building a reputation for nurturing the next generation of Australian artists and industry professionals. In recent years the program has reached new heights, with numerous students, winning competitions, releasing new music on Triple J and Spotify and gaining recognition in the broader WA music scene.
This year Fremantle College returns to Nannup for the third time with 6 bands from Years 11 & 12 of the program, presenting a diverse range of music. Once again, these bands will be performing on the College’s unique Solar Stage; An innovative solar powered and fully automated mobile stage with an integrated sound system. The Solar Stage was designed and built by parents and teachers, funded by P&C grants and industry donations.
