Buskers
We love to encourage busking at the Nannup Music Festival. So many of our favourite acts have started their musical journey busking!
For those who didn’t get selected or just didn’t feel ready to apply, perhaps busking is for you.
Buskers need to register at the Ticket Office and abide by our busking policies, such as no Amplification and 20-minute spots (keeps it fun and friendly for all) before setting up. Buskers are not eligible for tickets or payment. They can perform at allocated busking stages in the festival site, where ‘Buskers Welcome’ is marked or through personal negotiation with shop fronts or similar throughout town.

Nannup Busking Competition 2023
Applications open 1st December and close 15th December 2022
Are you keen to perform at Nannup Music Festival? What about applying to join our 2023 Busking Competition?
This will be showcased at the Nannup Brewing Co on the Saturday and Sunday of the festival, with the winner earning a spot in our 2024 festival programme.
Please send through a short bio, a link to listen to your music (being performed live) and any more about you and your desire to be included, to phaedra@nannupmusicfestival.org
Please note:
- 8 entries will be selected.
- Solos to trios invited.
- BYO gear, but sorry no drum kits. Due to stage space a more acoustic setup is desired.
- Sound will be provided.
- No festival ticket or payment is offered, yet there are free venues and markets to enjoy.
Whilst at the festival you might want to busk some more. We will also have a blackboard busking stage where you can jot your name down when you arrive at the festival and jump up for your spot or look out for busking locations throughout town.
