Xhalisse is a distorted dream pop band from Geraldton, WA which utilises psychedelic, ethereal and grunge elements to produce music with a distinct sound running the full spectrum from light to dark.

Initially a solo project by singer-songwriter Sarah O’Malley in 2019, Xhalisse was formed with the addition of members Alida Wright (bass/vocals), David Jackson/ Riley Sice (drums) and strings players Rosie Sitorus (viola) and Mel Carter (violin).

With a diverse range of influences, Xhalisse’s songs combine beautiful female vocals, otherworldly harmonies, complex chord progressions and a combination of rock and symphonic instrumentation which spans lighter dreamy moments into heavy alternative rock.

Their debut EP, Prophet Moon was released in February 2021 with a follow-up release scheduled for early 2023.
