Fuse vintage sounds with a contemporary attitude and you meet Walyalup Soul Pop sensation Sgt. Hulka.

Growing up in Walyalup, Kirsty Hulka fell in love with the vintage music on the scene and began emulating their sounds. After playing in many local bands, she decided to promote herself as Sgt. Hulka and has since grown her live band into a sparkly  8-piece powerhouse of a band with punchy horns, tight rhythms and charismatic vocals.

She has toured Australia, performed at festivals (Blues at Bridgetown, Denmark Festival of the Voice, Hidden Treasures) and on national television (Telethon ’22). Her song ‘Forget What I Told You’ was nominated for a WAM Song of the Year in ’23  and her song ‘Warrior’ was a finalist in the Listen Up! National Song Writing Prize.

Sgt. Hulka is an outstanding performer who has impressed audiences everywhere she has shimmered.
