MUFASSA is a laid-back roots musician hailing from the Sunshine Coast of Australia. With over 15 years of experience playing around the country, he has established himself as a talented multi-instrumentalist and gifted songwriter.
His style is deeply rooted in the sounds of the Australian countryside, drawing inspiration from the natural beauty and relaxed way of life that characterizes the region. MUFASSA’s music is a blend of easy-going and upbeat roots & reggae. His live performances are renowned for their energy and raw emotion. He is a gifted storyteller, weaving personal anecdotes and tales of the land into his music.
In recent years, MUFASSA has embraced the travelling lifestyle, floating between Southwest WA, Gulf Country QLD & the Sunny Coast, where he continues to perform, deliver workshops and record new music (EP Release – Spring to Summer, 2023, recorded at Yama-Nui Studio). MUFASSA is a true original, and his music is a reflection of the unique spirit of Australia.
