Born and raised in Tanzania but now calling Mparntwe (Alice Springs) home, Katanga Junior is an exciting, charismatic artist with a unique sound that fuses reggae, ragga and hip-hop sounds with his distinctively deep voice, smooth flow and multilingual lyrics. 2023 was a HUGE year for Junior taking out #1 in the 2023 MusicNT/ABC Darwin Territory Sounds Countdown, being announced as a finalist in two song categories for the NT Music Awards and recording his third album Pamoja. 2024 looks set to be even bigger with his album dropping early in the year and plenty of new collaborations on the horizon.
