NANNUP EMERGING ARTISTS AWARD
Overview
The Nannup Music Festival is passionate and excited to support, nurture and encourage Emerging Artists. We are honoured to have the support from our incredible sponsors, which allows us to present the Nannup Emerging Artists Award.
Ten artists from our lineup are selected each year to take part in the award. They are asked to perform two original songs to a supportive audience and go in the running for recording time with Lee Buddle at Crank Recording and with James Newhouse at Lamb Chop (thank you to Totally Sound).
Winners are selected by an industry pool of judges and announced at the opening of Sunday’s Amphitheatre night concert. They are also invited to perform at the following year’s festival.
Applications for the Nannup Emerging Artists Award are accepted as part of the general artist application process, open to all from 1st May to 31st June each year.
The selected artists will perform on the Sunday, 3:00pm – 5:00pm at the Playground and winners will be announced on Sunday night at the Amphitheatre.
