Score a weekend pass worth $110.00! Give us just 10 hours of your time over the weekend -- and we'll give you a week-end pass for the whole Festival. There are dozens of way in which you may be able to help us.

Thanks for thinking about volunteering for the Nannup Music Festival. The festival takes place over 4 days Friday 27th February - Monday 2nd March, and the vast majority of work we have needs to be done then, but we do require people beforehand as well as packing up afterwards.

How Can I Help?

Festival Information

Where do you find the disabled toilets, the venue is locked up, where can I get some cash and I want to set up, I have lost my ..., these are some of the questions and problems faced every few minutes at the festival office. You will be trained and given documentation on what to do in these circumstances and along with experienced volunteers help to solve all these problems and more. It's a great place for people who have good customer service skills and are good problem solvers. It can be fast, demanding and very rewarding.

Shop

The Festival Shop sells performers CDs and merchandise in the main venue. You will be trained in credit card transactions. It's a great place to get experience in retail sales. You will also need to field questions and liaise with the information and ticket office.

Surveys

There are thousands of people that come to the festival but are they enjoying it? Armed with a clip board and a big smile your mission is to try to get people to tell you what they think.

Ticket Sales

This is the busiest area to volunteer for the festival. You sell entry to the festival, exchange tickets for wristbands for people who have already paid entry. You learn how to use credit card transactions, handle cash and help sell the festival to those not to sure if they want to stay or spend that much on a ticket! You may have to go out and sell programs on the streets. Its busy and time passes quickly.

Logistics

There are many behind the scenes jobs that need to be done before after and during the weekend. We need help moving chairs, equipment, checking toilets have loo paper, checking water tanks, putting up signs and fencing etc. If you are handy and strong this would be the area for you.

Performers

Numerous performers need assistance over the weekend you may be able to transport a performer down to Nannup, transport them around the town or put them up at your house. This is an opportunity to get to know a performer well.

Catering

We need people to help with the Big Breakfast on Saturday, Sunday & Monday Morning. We use BBQs to cook up a feast of bacon, eggs etc to the crowds of people at the caravan park. You will need to be up early to help set up and clean up at the end you will be needed for both mornings! There will be other catering throughout the weekend where help will be needed.

Childrens Activities

Help will be required assisting with activities.
