The old info will disappear over the next few weeks and as details get firmed up for next year they will be posted here.
An Evening with Eric Bogle in June

Direct from sell out concerts at the 2007 Nannup Music Festival we invite you to join us for an evening with Eric Bogle in June.
Eric Bogle has long since been considered in many circles a national treasure and deservedly so. Eric has written many songs in which he conveys his deep feelings and love for this country and none better then "Shelter". Many people consider this particular song a worthy contender for the National Anthem.
Eric's songs cover many subjects and issues but he is perhaps more remembered for his anti war songs "And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda" and "No Mans Land" both these songs have been recorded by numerous artists worldwide and are as poignant and emotional today as they were when they were when they were written well over 20 years ago.
Eric tours regularly around the world and throughout Australia. He is one of the busiest and most sought after performers around.
An Eric Bogle concert is an entertaining evening out as well as thought provoking, sad, silly, funny, emotional and enjoyable. Eric has that rare ability to connect with his audience through his songs which are observant and warm, witty, self deprecating and always sincere.
Eric will be performing at the Nannup Town Hall with John Munro on Wednesday 18th June. Tickets are $28.00 per person and are available now from the Nannup Music Club website or from the Nannup Telecentre 9756 3061 (note the new number).

Ted Egan Ted Egan is an Australian bush legend. For 55 years, give or take, he's lived outback, mostly in the Top End, a lot of it in remote Aboriginal communities. In that time he's made his name as a footballer, singer, songwriter, activist, party boy, author, TV star, academic, historian and owner of 'Sink a Tinny Downs', his family home, the one with the swimming pool built in the shape of Australia and a spa that looks like Tasmania. That's not where he lives now, however. He lives in a posh house in Darwin. That's because last year the Queen appointed him Administrator of the Northern Territory. Settle back as we spin yarns with His Honour, Mr Ted Egan. |
 |
Joe Dolce is has performed internationally and around Australia and he is a show stopper with the depth of his performing skills: Social commentary, sweet and soulful vocals and guitarwork, humour, blues harp virtuoso, storytelling and acclaimed songs. He is an accomplished festival solo performer and the best of 35 years of writing. This will be the first time that we have presented a performer who can boast having a number 1 hit in 15 countries (who could forget his 1980 smash-hit "Shaddap Your Face"?) Apart from giving solo performances showcasing his own powerful material, Joe will also present a blues-harp workshop. |
 |
Andrew Horabin As a stand-up comedian, Andrew has performed at two seasons of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He toured twelve towns across WA with the one man version of his musical, WHAT A MAN'S GOTTA DO. He is taking this show on a UK Tour that will end with a week in Edinburgh, July/August 2008. He is a state and national award-winning singer/songwriter with accolades including ASA's Australian Songwriter of the Year in 2000. |

Old Man River - Ohad Rein exudes music. Just as he inhales inspiration from the world, he exhales songs about life and love and music and dreams. He's a storyteller, a traveller, a natural songwriter and musician, and an insightful observer of all that is around him. He has a calling - a purpose - to give and share joy with the world. And for Ohad and his band Old Man River that joy is an energy which emanates through his earthy voice and colourful 60s-influenced sound. |

Genticorum are fast becoming one of the most sought-after proponents of Québécois musical culture, firmly rooted in the soil of their native land of Canada. The energetic and original traditional 'power trio' also incorporates the dynamism of today's North American and European folk cultures in their music. Their distinctive sound, sense of humour and stage presence make them a supreme crowd pleaser. |
 |
Eleanor McEvoy The Festival hosts Eleanor McEvoy's first performance in Nannup. She is an artist and performer known throughout the world. Her critically acclaimed canon of work spans six albums, several singles and appearances on numerous compilation albums. She is recognised as Ireland's most successful female singer songwriter, having enjoyed personal chart success and numerous cover versions of her songs. The new album Out There takes a hard look at the precarious nature of our new wealthy world, as well as throwing new light on the idiosyncrasies of love and life. The songs are fresh, the tunes infectious, the lyrics wry and witty and the playing gorgeous. |
 |
Kerrianne Cox is an internationally renowned independent Aboriginal performing artist. Her signature song Beagle Bay Dreaming has brought her beloved home and country - Beagle Bay in the remote North West Kimberley region of Western Australia - into the hearts and minds of people all over the world. Inspirational, dynamic and powerful - Kerrianne is delighted to take you on a journey through my life, music and creative expression. |
